    Outsourcing hits a new class of workers: Journalists – Business

According to the World Association of Newspapers concluded in a study released in July, that outsourcing itself plays a major role in the newspaper industry of today. It is because of its advantages. In fact, it can lessen the expenses and it can also make the operation more easier than the usual. According to WAN’s studies, a Paris-based organization representing 72 national newspaper associations that a global survey of about 350 newspapers in Europe, Asia and the United States, and company executives reported that they expected the outsourcing to increase and grow because f its benefits to the industry even though there were some who were willing to rent out all of their editorial functions.

    According to the reports, The Columbus Dispatch in Ohio announced its intentions and willingness to give 90 graphic design jobs and ship out the work to Affinity Express in Pune, India. The Contra Costa Times, a California newspaper newly acquired by Media News Group in the breakup of Knight Ridder, announced its plans of shifting ad production positions to Express KCS in India, which describe itself as the “world’s media back office.” The Daily Express said that the underlying theme is all about the quality of what they are putting on the pages. They are more concern in the content of all the pages that they are doing. The kind of a product that The Daily Express is going to have is a total out-service. They say that one of the problems with the U.S. equities universe is that there are so many companies, and this has allowed them to cover so many services more than they could before. It has allowed them to increase their depth because ii gives the reporters in New York to do more competencies. Hi-Tech Export is an outsourcing company.
