City Councilor Jan Martin said that the government will have to save money in order not to suffer any financial crisis. Colorado Springs’ want to save money and they are thinking that outsourcing is the best solution in their problem. They attempt to be more efficient by providing outsourcing services in their city services to private companies in order for them to save money because outsourcing is really cost effective. They think that outsourcing will cost money. It is true but the result of exploring outsourcing is really great because a certain industry will surely benefit on it.
The government will save more money in using outsourcing because outsourcing itself will lessen the company’s operating expenses. IT really can lessen the costs of a certain industry. This discussion about outsourcing started in the month of January after just a month of pushing it by many private businessmen who are hungry for the city dollars. The City council told its staff to know and analyse whether the city could save money by outsourcing services.
Staff followed the order of the city council and in the month of May they presented in in the Council the long list of departments and services that could be outsourced everything from information technology to Sertich Ice Center management to workers’ compensation administration. And the next thing that they need to do is to ask the local businesses whether what will be the services that would provide a best result and how must it will take to purchase that services.
In outsourcing, the decision of a certain company is really important. It really have to tell what are the things that outsourcers will do in the business operations because it is really important to know that thing. Most company really prefer outsourcing because it is really cost effective. It will help the company to save more money.
